Here is a mod that I did on the Nerf maverick. This is a basic tutorial for those just starting to mod.

TRU Sale

Toys R Us seems to be having a sale online for buy one get one 50% off this is pretty good since they seem to have dropped there prices to be rather competitive. so if you are looking to add to your collection now would be the time to buy. i might pick up a barrel break and some nitefinders for some friends of mine see if i can attach an ss the bottom of the nitefinders

easy way to attach guns

So I was doing some work on a long shot to make it into a spartan-shot like the ones that drac makes and I got everything together and it just feels great the maverick is meant to be underneath the longshot I absolutely love it. There was just one thing I didn't like was that it took me at least an hour to get to where I am. ca

you can see that I still need to paint it and fill in the gap between the two guns. I'm thinkin royal purple with gold details.
anyways like i said it took forever to do and was quite tedious so I came up with this

I took a piece of pvc and cut it to about the length of the rail attachment drilled 2 holes into the pvc and cut it in half

here you can see I connected a maverick and recon barrel by putting the pvc on either side and putting the two bolts through the holes and tightening them

this can be done with any two guns with a rail attachment and is super easy to do.

new nerf blaster coming

Nerf just announced that they were going to release a new blaster. YAY!!! This is kinda sad though because news has been leaked of a new dart tag 10 shot mini swarmfire. you would think they would try to keep a tighter rap on stuff just saying. There was also a bumblebee barricade but I highly doubt that this will be the one released as nerf said new. the barricade has been around for some time and if it had transformers on it the price would be higher. so waiting till tomorrow to see what the have for us.
I'm looking for some people to help me out with the blog if you are interested in taking part let me know and leave a comment there really aren't requirements just be into nerf and post a comment every now and again.

vortex blasters and stuff

Just got back from a nerf war and had a great time. I used the vigilon and it performed outstandingly. The discs that I painted didn't have to much wear just little scuffs here and there nothing to major. I still did manage lose some of the discs though they seemed to disappear almost mainly because the grass was high. I also got to play with the praxis a little bit its a sturdy gun and I like the clip. Its not huge and the discs are easy to load. A few things that I noticed was that the discs traveled much slower than darts. this allowed for them to be easily blocked by melee weapons which I took full advantage of.
This is something that bothered me when I bought my gun there was no refills for the ammo and it is fairly expensive when compared to dart.
someone tried to tell me that the vortex nitron is only semi-auto. To this I said no it is also full auto. he then said I researched it. I just left it go and thought where the hell does he get his intel. so to all those out there who think the nitron is only semi auto like the barricade it's not. here check the nerf website

I did a few quick range tests and the discs were getting identical ranges to the non-painted discs. I was also happy to easily find them as they stick out in the grass make sure to paint the underside of the discs as well. I will have durability of this stuff up after a nerf war tomorrow as well as the range test of this gun and the praxis
